1. Go to ParentPortal.com and click on the “Login” link on the home page.
2. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields and click on the “Login” button.
3. On the left-hand side of the Parent Portal home page, you will see a “My Accounts” section. In this section, you will find all of your child’s school records (including grades, scores, absences, and more), as well as any important extracurricular activities he or she participates in. To add an event to your calendar for future reference, just click on the “Add an Event” button next to the event title.
The “My Accounts” section also includes a link to your child’s individual My School Page where you can manage his or her contact information, add notes or comments about lessons or events, and more!

How to login to Parent Portal?
If you are a parent or guardian of a student in the District, you can use Parent Portal to access important information about your student. To login to Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to https://portal.districtofcolumbus.com/.
2. Enter your school ID number and password.
3. Click “Log In” and enter your name and email address as your user name and click “Log In” again.
4. You will now be on the home page of Parent Portal. Under “My Students,” you will see a list of all of your students in the District. Each student has a different set of information, which is listed below:
-Name
-Email Address (if available)
-Phone Number (if available)
-Birth Date (YYYY-MM-DD)
You can also find information about your student on the home page by clicking on the blue “My Student” link in the top left corner of the page or by clicking on the name of your student in the My Students list on the home page.
How to manage accounts and permissions?
If you're a parent with one or more children using your Parent Portal account, it's important to manage their accounts and permissions. This includes setting up passwords, approving activities and granting access to specific websites and apps. Here's how to do it:
1. Log in to your Parent Portal account. You can find the login screen by clicking on your name at the top right of the Parent Portal home page or by searching for "Parent Portal" in the main menu.
2. Click on My Account at the top of the page. This will take you to a page where you can view and manage your child's accounts. You'll also see a section called Permissions.
3. Click on Edit next to the account you want to manage. You'll be asked to enter your child's username and password. If you have already set up passwords for them, you'll be able to click on the Save Password button and save them both into the same location.
