If you are a parent or guardian of a student using the online Parent Portal, there are a few quick and easy steps you can take to manage your account. How to add or remove children from your account
If you have more than one child in your Ogp account, you will need to login and navigate to the Parent Portal.
To add a new child, click on the plus (+) sign in the top right-hand corner of your screen and enter the child's name. You can also add a new child by clicking on the Add Child link in the My Account section of the Parent Portal. Note that if you have more than one child in your account, each child will appear on their own separate page.
If you want to remove a child from your account, click on the minus (-) sign next to their name and follow the instructions that appear.
How to add or remove parents from your account
Adding or removing parents from your account is easy. To add a parent, click on the "Parents" tab and select the parent you want to add. To remove a parent, click on the "Parents" tab and select the parent you want to remove.
How to block someone from contacting you
If you need to block someone from contacting you on the Opg Parent Portal, here's how:
1. Log in to the Opg Parent Portal.
2. Click on the My Profile link located in the top right corner of the screen.
3. On the My Profile page, click on the Blocks icon located in the top left corner of the screen.
4. Enter the email address or name of the person you want to block in the Search field and click on the Block button.
5. You will now receive a confirmation message informing you that your request has been processed and that you will no longer be able to contact this person.
How to report a problem with the Opg Parent Portal
If you encounter a problem logging in to the Opg Parent Portal, here is how to report the issue.
1. From your computer, open Google Chrome and go to www.opgparentportal.ca.
2. At the top of the page, click on the three lines in blue that say "Sign In."
3. If you are already signed in, on the right side of the page, under "Log In," click on "Sign Out."
4. Type your email address into the form at the top of the page and click on "Create Account."
5. Type your password into the form and click on "Create Account."
6. On the left side of the page, under "Parent Portal Topics," click on "Report a Problem."
7. Under "What kind of problem would you like to report?" type in "I can't login."
8. Click on "Next."
9. On the next screen, under "How can we help you?," type in your comments or questions about your problem and click on "Next."
