To find your planning area, go to the NSW Planning Portal and enter your postcode. You'll be taken to a list of Local Government Areas (LGA) in the area. To find your planning district, select it from the list and click on 'Find Planning District'.

The NSW Planning Portal allows you to edit an existing parcel, land, or building. To login and edit your parcel:
1) Access the NSW Planning Portal at www.planning.nsw.gov.au.
2) In the top right-hand corner of the screen, click on ‘My Parcels’.
3) Click on the parcel you want to edit.
4) On the ‘Edit this Parcel’ screen, you will be able to:
a) Change the parcel’s name;
b) Edit its boundaries;

How to print your planning area plan
If you have a PDF version of your planning area plan, printing it is easy. First, open the planning area plan in Adobe Reader. Next, click on the File menu and select Print. The Print dialog box will appear. In the Print dialog box, select Page Range and Sheet Set. Then, in the Output Directory field, type C:\planningareaplan and press OK. Finally, in the Number of Pages field, type 1 and press OK.
