Welcome to the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal! This website is designed to make it easy for parents to access their student's information, including grades and attendance history. Here are the steps you need to follow to login:
1.Click on "Login" in the top left corner of the page.
2.Enter your school ID or password.
3.If you have an active user account with them, your account will be automatically logged in. If you do not have an active user account, please create one by clicking on "Create an Account" in the top right corner of this page and follow the prompts.
4.To view your child's grades and attendance history, click on "My Account" in the top right corner of this page and choose a tab (Grades or Attendance).
How to login to Newark Public Schools Parent Portal
This post will show you how to login to the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal.
NOTE: If you have forgotten your password, please click here to learn how to reset your password.

To login to the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal:
1) Click on the link that says “NPS Parent Portal Login” on the home page of their website (www.newark.k12.nj.us).
2) On the NPS Parent Portal Login screen, enter your username and password in the appropriate fields and click on the “Log In” button.
3) You will now be automatically logged in to the Parent Portal. If you are not automatically logged in, please click on the link located in the lower left-hand corner of each page of their website and log in using your username and password from Step 2 above.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or need to change it, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal at https://portal.newark.k12.oh.us/.
2. Click on the "My Accounts" tab on the left side of the screen.
3. Under "My Account Information," click on "Change Password."
4. Enter your current password in the "New Password" field and enter a new, unique password in the "New Password (again)" field. Be sure to remember your new password!
5. Click on "Update Profile."
How to report a problem with your account
If you have a problem with your account, you can login to the portal and report the problem. Here are instructions on how to login:
1. Click on the "login" link in the top right corner of any page on the portal.
2. Enter your username and password and click on the "log in" button.
3. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "forgot password" link and enter your username and email address where we will send you a new password.
How to unsubscribe from notifications
If you no longer wish to be notified of changes or updates to the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal, please follow these steps:
1) Log in to your account on the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal.
2) Click on the "Notifications" tab at the top of the page.
3) Uncheck the boxes next to any notifications that you no longer wish to receive.
4) Click "save changes" at the bottom of the page.
Please note: You will continue to receive notifications about important updates and changes to their website, school-wide newsletters, and other important messages. However, if you do not wish to receive notifications about these types of messages, please follow steps 1-4 above.
How to add a child or student to your account
If you have not already done so, create an account on the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal. Log in to your account and click on the "Add a Child or Student to Your Account" link located on the left-hand side of the screen.
To add a new child or student, follow these simple steps:
1. Click on the "Add a New Child" link located in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Enter your child's name and select whether you would like to add them as a student or parent member.
3. If your child is in school, you will need to provide their school information (name, address, phone number). If your child is not currently enrolled in school, you will need to provide their age and other important contact information.
4. You will also be asked to set up a password for your child. Make sure that this password is strong and does not include easily guessed words or information. You will be able to reset your child's password if they lose it.
5. Click on the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of the screen to save

To view your account information:
Log in using your school email and password.
You will be redirected to the Parent Portal home page. To view your account information, select My Account on the left navigation panel. You will see all of the items in your Account Summary on the right side of the screen.
How to change/update your contact information
If you would like to change your contact information, there are several ways to do so.
- Log into the Newark Public Schools Parent Portal and click on "Personal Info" in the top left corner.
- Under "Contact Info," you will find fields for First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, and Email Address. You can also add a Phone Number orfacsimile number.
- Once you have updated your contact information, please notify Family Connections at [email protected] if you would like to be added to their mailing list or receive district news via email.
