What is the Windows Azure Portal?
The Windows Azure Portal is a web-based tool that helps users manage their Windows Azure resources. It provides a single interface to manage your account, compute resources, storage, networking, and billing. You can use the portal to create and manage virtual machines, web applications, services, and more. The portal also includes tools for monitoring your resources and diagnosing problems.
How to login to the Windows Azure Portal
The Windows Azure Portal is the central interface for managing your Windows Azure resources. You can use the Portal to create, access, and manage your cloud services, storage accounts, and other resources. To login to the Portal, follow these steps:
1. Open the Windows Azure Portal. If you don't have it already, install the Portal from http://portal.windowsazure.com/.
2. In the left-hand navigation pane, under My Sites, click your site name.
3. On the My Sites page of the Portal, in the upper-left corner of the page, click Accounts.
4. In the Accounts page of the Portal, under My Accounts, click Login . The Login dialog box appears (see Figure 1).
How to use the Windows Azure Portal
The Windows Azure Portal is a web-based management tool for managing your Windows Azure resources. The first step is to create an account. To do this, open the Windows Azure Portal and click the New button in the top left corner. Enter your login credentials and click the Create Account button. You will then be taken to the registration page. Click the I agree to the Terms of Service link, fill in your account information, and click the Create Account button. You will now be able to use the portal to manage your Windows Azure resources.
To access your resources, open the Windows Azure Portal and click on the Resource Explorer tab in the top left corner. In the Resource Explorer, you can browse through all of your resources by using one of two ways: using browse by name or browse by type. By using browse by name, you can see all of your WebJobs and Services instances, as well as all of your Blob Storage information. By using browse by type, you can see all of your AppFabric services (including both PaaS and IaaS), all of your Queue Storage information, and all of your Data Services information.
