What is the New Student Portal?
The New Student Portal is a new online service that allows students to access their academics, student services, and campus life from one easy location. Log in using your NetID and password.
Once you are logged in, you can access:
-Your Academics: View your courses and grades, sign up for classes, and more.
-Your Student Services: Register for classes, view your account information, and more.
-Your Campus Life: Connect with fellow students, find events and activities on campus, and more.
To get started, click the "Login" button at the top of the page.
How to Login to the Portal
If you are a new student, you will need to create an account on the portal in order to access all of the resources and services available to students. To login, follow these steps:
1. Click the login link in the top right corner of the home page.
2. Enter your student ID number and password in the appropriate fields and click submit.
3. You will be redirected to the main portal page. Congratulations! You have logged in!
Password and Security
The new student portal is a great way to stay connected with your school and keep up with your academic progress. When you first log in, you will be asked to create a password. Be sure to make it easy to remember and keep it secure! Here are some tips for keeping your password safe:
-Create a unique password that is at least 8 characters long.
-Make sure you never use the same password at more than one site.
-Never share your password with anyone.
-Change your password regularly and make sure to remember it!
Accessing Your Account
To login to your new student portal account, follow these steps:
1. Log into your MyUCLA account online.
2. Click the MyUCLA tab on the left side of the screen and select Student Portal from the drop-down menu.
3. Enter your UCLA NetID and password in the appropriate fields and click Login.
4. If you have not yet created an account in MyUCLA, you will be prompted to do so now. Once you have logged in, click the Your Account link under your name in the upper right-hand corner of the screen.
5. On the Your Account page, click Login to continue.
6. Enter your UCLA NetID and password again in the appropriate fields and click Login to confirm your account has been created. You are now ready to access all of the features of your new student portal account!
Account Settings
If you are a new student, you will need to create an account and login. Click the link in the header of this page to begin your registration process. Once you have registered, you will be able to access your account information and start setting up your account. In order to login, go to portal.berkeley.edu and click on "Login." You will be prompted for your password and then directed to the web page where you can enter it.
My Academics
The New Student Portal is a great way to keep track of your academic progress. Login and enter your student number and password to begin your journey. You can view your courses, grades, and other important information. You can also register for classes, check your financial aid status, and more. The New Student Portal is a valuable tool for students of all levels of education.
My Transcripts
The New Student Portal is a great way for new students to stay connected with the university and track their progress. To login, first click "My Transcripts" in the main menu. This will take you to a page where you can view your transcripts, add/delete courses, and more.
My Credits
Login to the New Student Portal:
To access the New Student Portal, first navigate to http://portal.syr.edu/. Once on the portal, click on “Login” in the top left corner. Enter your email address and password, and click “Log in.” You will then be prompted to create a user name and password. The user name is your first name followed by a hyphen (e.g., John-Smith). The password is your last name followed by a hyphen (e.g., Smith-John).
My Degree Progress
If you are a new student at UC Berkeley, you will need to create an account on the new student portal. Once you have logged in, follow these instructions to find out how to login and access your degree progress.
First, choose which campus you will be attending.
Once you have selected a campus, click on the "My Campus" tab on the left side of the page.
Under "My Campus," find "Student Portal."
Click on "Login."
Enter your NetID and password.
If you have not already done so, choose a name for your UC Berkeley account. This is the name that will appear under "My Profile" when you log in to the portal and access your degree progress.
You can now view your degree progress by clicking on "My Profile."
Transferring from Another College or University
If you are a new student at UC Santa Cruz, you will need to create a MyUCSC account in order to use the online services and resources available on the New Student Portal. To create your account, visit the New Student Portal homepage and click on the “Create Account” link in the top right corner. Once you have created your account, you will need to enter your UCSC ID number (found on your enrollment confirmation email) and password. You will also need to provide your first name, last name, major, and email address.
Once you have created your account, you can access all of the resources available on the New Student Portal by clicking on the “Login” link in the top right corner of any page. The login screen will ask you to enter your ID number and password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access all of the resources available on the New Student Portal.
Completing Your Degree
If you're a new student, you'll need to complete some initial steps in order to login to the portal and start your degree journey. The first step is to create an account by clicking on the "Create Account" button at the top of the homepage. You'll need your first and last name as well as your email address in order to create your account. Once you have an account, you can begin completing your degree requirements by clicking on the "My Degree" tab at the top of the homepage. Here, you'll find information on each of your degree programs, such as required courses and course descriptions. You can also view your cumulative GPA and major(s) of study. Additionally, you can access online resources, such as course syllabi and learning tools, which can help you succeed in your degree program. Finally, be sure to register for any class sessions that are offered during your first semester, as this will allow you to connect with fellow students and get started on your education path.
