If you are a prospective student at the United States Naval Academy, you will need to use the Academy's Candidate Portal in order to apply and submit your application materials. This article will provide you with instructions on how to login to the Candidate Portal and start submitting your application materials.
What is the Naval Academy Candidate Portal?
The Naval Academy Candidate Portal is a web-based system that allows prospective midshipmen at the United States Naval Academy to access their application files and track their application process. Prospective midshipmen who have registered for the online application system can use the portal to: (1) view their application status; (2) view their application files; and (3) submit updates or changes to their applications.
How to Log In: Prospective midshipmen must first register for the online application system by clicking on the "Register" link in the navigation bar at the top of the portal. After registering, prospective midsmiths will be prompted to enter their Username and Password. Once logged in, prospective midshipmen will be able to access all of their application files and track their progress through the admissions process.

How to Login to the Portal
If you have not already done so, please register for an account on the Naval Academy Candidate Portal. You will need your username and password to access the portal. You can create an account by clicking on the “Sign In” button in the top right corner of any page on the portal, or by visiting their registration page.
Once you have registered, you can log in to the portal by entering your username and password in the appropriate fields on the login page. You will be prompted to choose a user name and password. The user name is what you will use to sign in to the portal throughout your candidacy; it is not your Naval Academy ID.
