If you're like most drivers, you probably use several different apps to manage your daily driving needs. But what if you had one app that could do it all? Volvo has just announced their new Volvo Portal, a driver-centric app that lets you check your vehicle's emissions, manage your insurance, get roadside assistance, and more. Here's how to sign up and start using it.
How to login to your Volvo Portal
If you have not already created a Volvo Portal account, please click here to create one. Once you have logged in, please follow these steps to login:
1. Click on the My Volvo Portal icon on the top right of your screen (see Figure A).
2. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields and click on the Log In button (see Figure B). If you have forgotten your password, please click on the Forgot Password link at the bottom of the login screen and enter your username and email address where you registered for a Volvo Portal account (see Figure C). Your new password will be emailed to you. Please note that if you forget your username, you can retrieve it by clicking on the My Volvo Portal icon and selecting Profile from the drop-down menu (see Figure D).

How to change your password
To change your password, go to the My Volvo Portal and sign in. On the left hand side of the screen, under "My Profile", click on "Change Password".
In the "New Password" text box, type your new password in plain text. Next to "Confirm New Password", type in a password verification code. Click on the "Update Profile" button to save your changes.
To log out of My Volvo Portal, go to the My Volvo Portal and sign in. On the left hand side of the screen, under "My Profile", click on "Log Out".
How to add a new user
If you are looking to add a new user, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Volvo Portal account.
2. Click on the Users tab at the top of the page.
3. Click on Add New User.
4. Fill out the necessary information and click Next.
5. Review your user information and click Next again.
6. Confirm your user account activation and click Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
How to access your account history
To access your account history, go to
https://myvolvo.com/login
and enter your username and password. You will then be able to view all of your account activity, including downloads and updates, as well as any comments you've made.
How to troubleshoot issues with your Volvo Portal
If you're having trouble logging into your Volvo Portal, there are a few things you can try. Here are some quick tips to get you started:
- Make sure you're using the correct username and password
- Check your computer's network settings to make sure your browser is connected to the internet and enabled for security
- Try resetting your browser cache and cookies
- Reset your password if you've forgotten it
