How to login to Montgomery County Employee Portal
If you are a current employee of Montgomery County and have not yet registered for the Employee Portal, now is the time to do so. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access all of the resources and features of the portal. In this article, we will show you how to login to the Employee Portal.
To login to the Employee Portal, first go to https://portal.montgomerycountymd.gov and sign in with your credentials. If you do not have access to the web browser on which you are working, you can use a different device or computer to access the portal by following these steps:
1) On your work device, open your web browser and go to https://portal.montgomerycountymd.gov
2) Enter your user name and password (they are the same) and click Log In
3) If prompted, choose whether or not you would like to connect using a secure connection (recommended)
4) Click OK and you are ready to begin exploring the Employee Portal!
How to change your password
To change your password, go to the login page and enter your e-mail address and new password. If you have forgotten your password, click the link for generating a new one.
How to change your email address
If you have ever changed your email address with Montgomery County, you know that it is not very easy. You can't just go to the Employee Portal and change your email address. Here are instructions on how to do it.
1. Go to the Employee Portal at http://www.montgomerycountymd.gov/employee/portal/.
2. Click on "My Account".
3. On the left side of the page, click on "Email Address".
4. Enter your new email address in the text box and click on "Update".
5. Click on "Log Out" at the bottom of the page to finish changing your email address.
How to unsubscribe from Montgomery County email notifications
If you no longer want to receive email notifications from Montgomery County, you can unsubscribe by following the instructions below.
To unsubscribe from email notifications:
1. Log into your account on the Employee Portal.
2. Click on “Email Notifications” in the left-hand navigation.
3. Under “Email Notifications Settings,” select the checkbox next to “I would like to continue receiving email notifications about my department/organization updates, events and news.”
4. Click on the “Unsubscribe” button below.
