Monmouthshire Planning Portal is a new planning application that allows residents of Monmouthshire to easily access planning applications, planning documents and maps. In this article, we will show you how to login to the portal and start using it.
What is Monmouthshire Planning Portal?
Monmouthshire Planning Portal is a website that provides information and support to people who need to access planning applications and other planning related information. You can use the website to login, apply for a planning permit, view your application history, or ask a question.
How to login
If you are a new user, please follow these instructions:
1. Click the "Create Account" link on the top right hand corner of the Monmouthshire Planning Portal home page.
2. Enter your email address and password in the corresponding fields and click "Create Account".
3. You will then be taken to the "My Account" page, where you can view your account details and start using the Portal.
How to search for planning applications
To search for planning applications, you can use the Monmouthshire Planning Portal. To login, please follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Login" button in the top right corner of the portal.
2. Enter your Username and Password in the relevant fields.
3. Click on the "Log In" button to confirm your login.
4. The "List of Planning Applications" page will be displayed. You can browse through this page by clicking on the different tabs at the top of the page (e.g., "Search"). The "Planning Applications" tab will be displayed if you have not already searched for a particular planning application.
How to submit a planning application
If you're looking to submit a planning application, first login to the Monmouthshire Planning Portal. Once you're logged in, click on 'Applications' on the left-hand side of the page. Next, select 'Planning Applications' from the dropdown menu and click on 'New Application'. You'll then be prompted to fill out some information about your application, including your name and contact details. Once you've finished, click on 'Submit Application' and your application will be submitted for processing.
How to view your planning application status
If you are new to the planning portal, you will first need to create an account. Once you have created your account and logged in, you can view your application status. To do this:
1. In the top left corner of the planning portal homepage, click on 'My Planning Applications'.
2. On the My Planning Applications page, under 'Application Status', select 'View Status'.
3. The View Status page will open with your application listed in the left column. All of the information in your application, including comments and responses to consultation questionnaires, will be displayed in the right column.
How to make a change to your application
If you want to change something about your application, you can login to the Planning Portal and make the change. The steps are:
Sign in to the Planning Portal. Click on My Applications on the left-hand side of the screen. If you don’t have an application yet, click on Create an Application. In the Application Details section, click on Edit Details. In the Application Information section, under Applying for: select Monmouthshire Council Planning Portal. Under Login Details, enter your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on Forgot your password? and we will send you a new password. Under Change Details, enter the changes you want to make to your application. Click Save Changes.
