How to report child abuse or neglect
Reporting child abuse or neglect is a very important step in protecting the child. If you are concerned about a child in your care, there are several ways to report what you have seen.
The most direct way to report child abuse or neglect is to go to the child’s home and talk to the parents. This may be the best way if you know the parents and they are willing to listen.
If you do not know the parents, or if they will not listen, another way to report child abuse is through the MMSD Parent Portal. The portal is a web-based system that parents can use to report concerns about their children. You can also use the portal to get information about services in your area.
To use the MMSD Parent Portal, you need to first create an account. You can do this by going to www.mmsd.org and clicking on “My Account” on the left side of the screen. On this page, you will need to provide your name, email address, and phone number.
Once you have created your account, you can access the portal by going to www.mmsd.org/port
How to contact MMSD
If you need to contact MMSD, there are a few ways to do so. You can phone the school district office, visit their website, or send them an email.
The easiest way to contact MMSD is through their website. The website has a contact form on the home page that you can use to get in touch with them. You can also call the district office during normal business hours. They will be able to help you with any questions or problems that you may have with your child’s education.
If you want to send them an email, the best way to do that is through their online contact form. You can also send them a message through social media, but it might be harder to get a response from them that way.
