For parents who have children in Minneapolis public schools, the new Minneapolis Parent Portal is a must-have for logging into school websites, tracking homework, and more. In this article, we'll show you how to login to the portal and get started using it!
How to create an account
If you don't have an MPR account, create one now. If you already have an MPR account, sign in to your account and go to the Parent Portal home page.
1. On the home page of the Parent Portal, click the "Login" link in the upper right corner.
2. Enter your email address and password in the fields provided, and click the "Sign In" button.
3. If you are signed in to an existing MPR account, you will be automatically directed to the main Parent Portal page. If you are not yet signed in, you will need to create a new account before you can continue.
4. To view your Parent Portal content, click on any of the menu items on the left side of the screen (for example, "Activities"). Then, under "Parents & Students," click on any of the content items listed (for example, "School Calendar"). You can also use the search bar at the top of the page to find specific content.
How to login
If you are a Minneapolis parent and have an account on the Parent Portal, you can login to the portal to manage your account and family information. To login, go to http://www.minneapolisparentportal.org and enter your user name and password. If you have not registered for the Parent Portal, you will need to do so first.
How to manage your child's account
Minneapolis Parent Portal is a new online portal that Minneapolis parents can use to manage their children's school, extracurricular activities, and other important personal information. To login to the Minneapolis Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to http://parentportal.minneapolismn.gov/.
2. Enter your email address and password in the login form on the home page of the Minneapolis Parent Portal.
3. You will be redirected to a page where you can select which child's account you want to manage.
4. In the My Accounts section, you will see all of your child's school information, including their name, grade level, teacher, and schedule.
5. In the Extracurricular Activities section, you will find information about your child's club and sports activities.
6. You can also add or edit information in the My Information section, such as birthdate, email address, and phone number.
7. You can view activity logs for your child in the Activity Logs section on the home page of the Minneapolis Parent Portal.
How to report a problem
If you have a problem with the Minneapolis Parent Portal, first check to see if it's already been reported. If it hasn't been, there are a few things you can do to try and find a resolution.
To report a problem:
1. Log into the Minneapolis Parent Portal.
2. Click on "My Account" in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. Under "Reporting Issues," click on "Report a Problem."
4. Fill out the form as best you can and click "Submit Report."

How to deactivate your account
If you no longer need or want a Minneapolis Parent Portal account, there are several ways to deactivate it.
