The Miami University Portal offers a wealth of information for students, faculty and staff, but in order to access it you first need to login. Follow these simple steps to get started:
1. Click the "Login" link on the top right-hand corner of the main page.
2. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields.
3. Click "Log In."
4. You will now be redirected to the login screen for your department or school.
5. Click "Log In" and enter your username and password to gain access to the resources you need.
How to login to Miami University Portal
To login to the Miami University Portal, users will need to have their Miami username and password. To create a new account, visit the Login section of the Portal.
How to create an account on Miami University Portal
If you have never used Miami University Portal before, the first step is to create an account. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "Login" button in the top right corner of the main page.
2. In the login form that appears, enter your name (first and last), email address, and password.
3. Click on the "Create Account" button to finish creating your account.
Once your account has been created, you will be able to log in using your name (first and last), email address, and password.
How to manage your account on Miami University Portal
To manage your account on Miami University Portal, please follow these instructions:
1. Log in to Miami University Portal at www.mu.edu.
2. In the menu bar on the left, click Accounts and Password.
3. Enter your login credentials and click Log In.

How to password protect your account on Miami University Portal
If you are a current Miami University student, faculty, or staff, you can password protect your account on the Miami University Portal. To password protect your account:
1. Log in to your account on the Miami University Portal.
2. Click on the My Account tab located at the top of the screen.
3. On the My Account screen, click on Password Protect My Account.
4. Enter your desired password in the Password field and confirm your password in the Confirm Password field.
5. Click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page to complete your password protection process.
How to contact Miami University Support
If you need to contact Miami University Support, there are a few different ways to do so. You can use the web-based support system, call the help line, or mail in a support ticket.
To use the web-based support system, you will first need to create an account. Once you have created your account, you can navigate to the support system and start a support ticket. You can also reach out to Miami University Support by emailing them at [email protected].
If you need assistance with your computer or internet connection, you can call Miami University’s help line at (513) 752-6555. The help line is open Monday-Friday from 8am to 4:30pm EST.
If you need to send in a support ticket, you can do so by mailing it to [email protected] or dropping it off at the Help Desk in the Student Services Building on campus.
How to use the MyMiamiU app
Starting at the MyMiamiU app, navigate to your Student tab. Once in the Student tab, you will need to sign in. If you have not already created a MyMiamiU account, you can create one now by clicking on the link in the top right corner of the screen. Once you have logged in, click on your username (the name that appears under MyMiamiU when you are logged in) and then select Account Settings. In Account Settings, select Login and enter your Miami University e-mail address and password. You will then be prompted to verify your account by entering your student ID number. Once you have verified your account, you are ready to start using the MyMiamiU app!
