How to login to the Marin County Voter Information Portal
The Marin County Voter Information Portal is a website that allows voters to look up their voting history, register to vote, and find information about candidates and ballot measures. To access the website, you must first login.
To log in, you will need your voter registration identification number (VRI Number) and your user name. Your VRI Number can be found on your voter registration card or driver's license. Your user name is the name you use when you are logged in to the portal.
To log in, follow these instructions:
1. Click on the "Login" link in the top left corner of the homepage.
2. Enter your VRI Number and user name into the appropriate fields and click on the "Log In" button.
3. You will be redirected to the main page of the portal. From here, you can explore the site or register to vote.
How to find your voter registration information
If you are a registered voter in Marin County, you can access your voter registration information through the Marin County Voter Information Portal. To login, click on the "Login" link in the upper-left corner of the home page and enter your email address and password. You will then be able to view your voting history, update your contact information, and more.
How to change your voter registration information
If you are a registered voter in Marin County and need to change your registration information, you can login to the Marin County Voter Information Portal. This portal is open every day from 8am to 8pm. To login, first locate your voting district and locate your polling place on the map. If you are unable to locate your polling place, call (415) 454-VOTE (8683) for assistance. Once you have located your polling place, go to the voting district page and click on “Login” in the upper right corner. Enter your username and password, and then click “Log In”. On the “My Registration” page, select “Change Your Voter Registration Information” and complete the form. You will need to provide your current residential address, date of birth, party affiliation, and email address. If you have changed your name since registering to vote, you will also need to provide documentation of the name change. Once you have completed the form, click “Submit Changes” and your changes will be reflected on the My Registration page.
How to find the polling place for your address
To find your polling place, go to the Marin County Voter Information Portal and enter your address. The portal will list all of the polling places in Marin County. You can also call the Marin County Registrar of Voters at (415) 464-7600 for more information.
How to vote in a primary or election
If you are registered to vote in Marin County, please visit the Voter Information Portal to login and follow the instructions on how to vote.

How to cast a ballot by mail
If you are registered to vote by mail in Marin County, you can login to the voter information portal to cast your ballot. To login, go to: https://marincounty.vote/. In the upper right hand corner of the page, click on “Login.” Enter your name and email address in the appropriate fields, and then click on “Sign In.” You will be taken to a page where you can enter your voting district number and password. If you have previously registered to vote by mail, you will not need to enter these additional details. After you have entered these details, click on the “Log In” button at the bottom of the page. You will now be taken to a page where you can view your current voting status and cast your ballot.
How to request a Absentee Ballot
If you are registered to vote in Marin County and wish to request an absentee ballot, you can do so by logging into the Marin County Voter Information Portal. To login, click on "Voting & Elections" on the main page of the Marin County website and then under "Elections" click on "Absentee Ballot Request." You will be prompted to enter your voter registration information as well as your date of birth. You will also be asked to choose a reason for requesting an absentee ballot. The available reasons are: illness, disability, work or school. After providing this information, you will be asked to confirm that this is truly your request and that you are not requesting an absentee ballot for someone else. If everything is correct, you will be given a ballot request number and a voting timeline. You can print out your ballot request form or save it to your computer for later use.
To cast your absentee ballot, go to your county elections office between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. You will need to present identification (such as a driver's license) and your ballot request form to vote.
