How to login on Mackillop Parent Portal
To login on the Mackillop Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your account by clicking on the ‘Log in’ button at the top right of the portal homepage.
2. Enter your username and password and click on the ‘Login’ button.
3. If you have not set up 2-factor authentication on your account, you will be prompted to do so now. Click on the ‘Yes, I am sure!’ button to proceed.
4. Once you are logged in, you will see the main dashboard for your portal account. On the left-hand side of the screen is a list of all the content areas that are available to you, and across the top of the page is a column of buttons which allow you to navigate between them. To access your account’s settings, click on ‘Settings’ in the top-right corner of the screen.
How to manage your account
If you are not already registered for Mackillop Parent Portal, please go to www.mackillop.edu.au/parentportal and register for an account. Once you have registered and logged in, follow these steps to manage your account:
1. Click on My Account in the top left-hand corner of the portal.
2. On the My Account page, click on Edit Profile.
3. In the Edit Profile page, click on Login Settings.
4. In the Login Settings page, enter your Mackillop email address and password and click on Save Changes.
If you need to reset your password, enter your email address and click on Reset Password. If you have forgotten your password, click on Forgot Password? and enter your email address to get a new password sent to that email address.
How to add and remove children from your account
Adding a child to your Mackillop Parent Portal account is easy. All you need is their parent’s email address and the child’s first and last name.
To add a child, open the Mackillop Parent Portal, click on your name at the top of the page, and then click on “Add Child.” Fill out the form with your parent’s email address and child’s first and last name. Click “Submit” when you're done.
If you'd like to remove a child from your account, go to the Mackillop Parent Portal and click on your name at the top of the page. Then click on “Edit Profile.” Under “Children,” click on the child's name and select “Remove Child.” Type in your parent's email address to send them an explanation of why the child was removed from the account, and click “Submit.”
How to change your account password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you want to change it, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Mackillop Parent Portal and click on the ‘Login’ link in the top right-hand corner of the screen.
2. Enter your username (the email address you registered with Mackillop) and password in the appropriate fields, and click on the ‘Log In’ button.
3. If you have not already done so, select an account type from the drop-down list next to ‘Login Type’. The default is ‘Individual’, but you can also choose ‘Family’ or ‘School’ if you are a parent or guardian of a student at Mackillop school.
4. Click on the ‘Change Password’ button. You will now be taken to a new page where you can enter your new password in the appropriate field. Once you have entered it correctly, click on the ‘Update Password’ button to save your changes.
How to report a problem with Mackillop Parent Portal
If you have a problem logging in to Mackillop Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Open the Mackillop Parent Portal on your computer.
2. Click the “Login” button in the top right corner of the screen.
3. If you are having trouble logging in with your school username and password, please enter those details below. If you are not having trouble logging in, but need help troubleshooting your account, please enter your email address below. They will email you a link to help resolve your problem.
4. If you are having trouble logging in because you do not have an account, please enter your email address below and we will create an account for you and send you an activation link. You will need to confirm your subscription before using the Parent Portal.
