The Patient Portal is a secure online resource that allows patients to view their medical records, make appointments, and more. In this article, we will show you how to login to the Patient Portal and start using it today.
How to login to the Patient Portal
If you have not already done so, please review their Patient Portal user guide for information on how to login to the portal. The user guide is located at: https://www.losalamitosmedicalcenter.com/patient-portal/user-guide/.
To login to the Patient Portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to www.losalamitosmedicalcenter.com and sign in using your Los Alamitos Medical Center username and password. If you have not created a user account, click on the "Create Account" link below the MyLAMC logo and enter your name, email address, and password. You will then be prompted to create a patient profile and select a hospital department or specialty from the dropdown menu.
2. Click on the "Patient Portal" logo in the left-hand column of the MyLAMC website home page and then click on the "Login" link in the Patient Portal navigation bar at the top of the page. You will be prompted to enter your patient login name and password from step 1 above. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access all of your patient data including appointment
How to find your account number and password
If you forgot your password, click here to get help. If you can't find your account number, please call their Patient Portal Help Desk at 909-987-8000 and provide your name and patient identification number.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if it has expired, you can change your password using the Los Alamitos Medical Center Patient Portal. In order to login to the Patient Portal, go to the "My Account" tab on the homepage and follow the instructions.
How to make a medical appointment
Los Alamitos Medical Center offers a secure patient portal for convenient and timely appointments.
To make an appointment, please follow these steps:
1. Click on the "My Account" tab at the top of the homepage.
2. Click on "Appointments."
3. To view available appointments, select a date and time range. (The "Available Appointments" tab also displays all open appointments.)
4. To schedule an appointment, click on the "Book Appointment" button. You will be prompted to enter your name, phone number, and email address. (If you have not previously created an account with Los Alamitos Medical Center, you will be prompted to do so.)
5. After you have completed the information requested, click on the "Submit" button. Your appointment will be confirmed and you will be redirected to their payment page where you can make your payment.

How to get lab results
Los Alamitos Medical Center Patient Portal is an easy way to get lab results. You can login to the Patient Portal and view your lab results online.
How to pay for care
If you are a Los Alamitos Medical Center patient, be sure to use their patient portal to pay for care. We have made the process as easy as possible. Here are the steps:
1. Log in to the patient portal at http://portal.lamc.org/.
2. Click on "Health Insurance" on the left hand side of the page.
3. On the "Health Insurance" page, click on "Payment Methods."
4. On the "Payment Methods" page, click on "View Bill."
5. The "View Bill" page will open and show your current bill amount and dates. You will also be able to see which services were included in your bill and how much you owe. You can also make payments by clicking on the green "Make Payment" button next to each service's cost.
6. Once you have paid all of your bills, their system will automatically generate a refund check that you can download or print out.
How to dispute a bill
If you feel that a bill you received from Los Alamitos Medical Center (LAMC) was incorrect, you may want to dispute it. Disputes can be made online through the Patient Portal or by calling LAMC's billing department. Here are instructions on how to dispute a bill online:
1. Log into your Patient Portal account.
2. Click on the My Billing tab.
3. On the My Billing page, click on Dispute Bill.
4. On the Dispute Bill page, provide the following information:
- Date of service and description of the issue you are trying to dispute
- Your contact information (including name, phone number, and email address)
- The reason for disputing the bill (e.g., incorrect charges, late payment, etc.)
