How to login
If you are a new or returning student at Eastern Illinois University, it is important that you know how to login. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to do just that:
Step One: Go to the EMU portal.
Step Two: Click on “Login” in the top left corner of the page.
Step Three: Enter your EMU username and password.
Step Four: Click “Log In” at the bottom of the page.
Congratulations! You have now logged in to your account at Eastern Illinois University.
If you forgot your password
If you have forgotten your password, then the first thing to do is to try and login using your username and password. If that doesn't work, then you can try and reset your password.
To reset your password, go to the 'My Account' page and click on the ‘Reset Password’ button. Enter your newpassword in the ‘New Password’ field and click on the ‘Reset Password’ button.
How to reset your password
If you have forgotten your login credentials, there is a quick and easy way to reset them. Follow these simple steps:
1. Log in to your account at login.ed.gov by clicking on the “Login” button in the front-page header.
2. Click on “My Account” in the top menu bar and then click on the “Password” link under My Account Details.
3. Enter your email address and password into the appropriate fields and click on the “Reset Password” button. You will receive an email notification confirming the reset has been completed.
If you have trouble logging in
To login, first try restarting your computer. If that doesn't work, try these other steps:
1. Click on the Start button and go to Control Panel.
2. Click on System and Security and then click on Administrative Tools.
3. When the Administrative Tools window opens, double-click on Users and Groups.
4. In theUsers and Groups window, under the Local Users tab, find your username and then double-click on it to open the Properties window.
5. In the Properties window, on the Login tab, type in your username and password (the ones you used when you set up your computer) and then click OK.
