How to login to your local government portal
If you are a registered user of your local government portal, you can login using your name and email address. If you are not a registered user, you can create an account by clicking on the "register" link in the top right corner of the portal. After registering, you will be able to login using your name and email address.
How to create an account
If you're not already a blog subscriber and would like to see this content on your desktop or mobile device, please sign up for their e-newsletter. You will then be able to login to the Local Government Portal and view this content.
To create an account, follow these steps:
1) Go to the Local Government Portal homepage.
2) On the left-hand side of the screen, click “Sign In”.
3) Enter your email address and password.
4) Click “Sign In”.
5) On the right-hand side of the screen, click “New Account”.
6) Enter your name, city, and state.
7) Click “Submit”.
8) Your new account is created! You can now log in by clicking on your name in the top left corner of the screen and clicking on “Login”.
How to manage your account
If you are not already registered with the Local Government Portal, you can create an account by clicking on the 'Create an account' link on the top right hand corner of the website. Once you have logged in, you will be able to manage your account details and access your portfolio.
To view your portfolio, click on the 'Portfolio' tab at the top of the page. In order to upload or update any of your content, you will need to click on the 'Manage submissions' link located in the left-hand column of your portfolio.

How to find information on your local government
You can find information on your local government by logging in to the website. To login, follow these steps:
1. Go to the website and click on the "Login" link at the top of the page.
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. Click on the "Log In" button.
4. You will be prompted to select a department or unit from which you would like to view information.
5. Select a department or unit and click on the "View Information" button to view the information available for that department or unit.

If you can’t find the information you’re looking for on the website or on the phone, there are other resources available to help you.
In general, you can find contact information for local government agencies by searching online databases such as 411.com or Google.
You can also try contacting your state government’s office of the secretary of state or your county’s government center.
How the portal works
Local government portals are becoming increasingly common, as governments seek ways to be more transparent and accessible to their constituents. In order to login to your local government portal, you will need your Login ID and Password. The Login ID is the unique identifier for your account, and the Password is the login password you set when you created your account.
