What is Lion Portal?
Lion Portal is a tool that enables users to access their Lion account remotely. It allows you to access your email, contacts, calendar, mail server settings, and other information from any computer with an internet connection. You can also use Lion Portal to share files with other Lion users or access shared documents from other computers.
To use Lion Portal, open the Lion desktop and sign in. Then click the icon on the far left of the launchpad. When prompted, enter your login name and password. If you have Two-Factor Authentication enabled, you will also need to enter your security code.
Once you are logged in, you will see the main Lion portal screen. On the left side of the screen are three panes: Email, Contacts, and Calendar. The middle pane is for Files and Folders. The right side of the screen has links to other areas of Lion including System Preferences, Applications, System Logs, Sharing, and Printers.
To manage your email messages, open the Email pane and click on the Messages tab. On the left side of the tab are two panels: Inbox and Spam folder. The Inbox panel shows all of your email messages except those in the Spam
How to login to Lion Portal?
If you are new to Lion Portal, first you need to create an account. To create an account, click on the "Create an Account" link at the top of the Lion Portal homepage. After you create your account, you will be able to login to Lion Portal. To login, type your user name and password in the appropriate fields and click on the "Login" button.
What do I need to login to Lion Portal?
To login to Lion Portal, you will need your user name and password. To get your user name, go to Lion Portal home page and click on the Settings link in the top right corner of the screen. In the Settings dialog box, under Login, click on the Users tab. The list of users will be displayed. Click on the name of the user for which you want to retrieve the password. The password will be displayed in the text box next to the user’s name.
How to change my password?
In order to change your Lion Portal password, follow these steps:
1. Click on the "My Account" link in the top left corner of the Lion Portal.
2. You will see a page that lists all of your Lion Portal accounts. On the right side of this page, you will see a button that says "Change Password."
3. Click on this button and you will be taken to a page that asks you to enter your current password and new password. Be sure to remember your new password!
How to troubleshoot issues with Lion Portal?
If you are having trouble logging in to Lion Portal, follow these steps:
1. Check your internet connection. Lion Portal may not be able to connect to the server if your internet is not working properly.
2. Make sure that you have installed the latest versions of Lion Portal and the Lion Server software. Make sure that you have the latest updates for both products.
3. If you are using a web browser, make sure that you are using the most recent version of Internet Explorer or Firefox. The latest versions of these browsers can sometimes fix issues with logging in to Lion Portal.
4. Try different passwords and usernames. Sometimes users can forget their login credentials or their username and password might be blocked by a firewall or security software on their computer. Try different combinations of letters, numbers and/or special characters to see if that helps to unlock the portal login screen.
5. If you have registered with a social media site like LinkedIn, Facebook or Twitter, try registering with Lion Portal using those accounts instead of personal accounts. If that does not work, contact the social media sites’ support departments for help reset
