A Parent Portal is a great way for parents to keep track of what their children are up to online. Kics has developed a Parent Portal that makes this process easier than ever before. In this article, we will show you how to login and use the Parent Portal.
How to login to Kics Parent Portal
To login to Kics Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to the website kics.org.
2. On the homepage, click on the "Login" link in the upper-left corner.
3. Enter your username and password, and click on the "Log In" button.
4. You will be redirected to the main page of Kics Parent Portal.
How to add a child or parent
Adding a child or parent to your Kics account is easy! Here's how:
1. Log in to your Kics account.
2. Click on the "My Account" tab at the top of the page.
3. Click on the "Add a New User" button located on the left-hand side of the screen.
4. Enter your name, email address and password in the appropriate fields and click on the "Create Account" button.
5. If you are adding a child, enter their name, birthdate, and gender in the appropriate fields. You will also need to input their school information if they are attending school online. If you are adding a parent, enter their name and email address in the appropriate fields. You will also need to input their role (parent, teacher, admin) in the system and select which kics account they would like to add their child to.
6. Click on the "Add Child" or "Add Parent" button to add your newly created user to your account. Congratulations! You now have a member of your family logged into Kics!
How to remove a child or parent
If you want to remove a child or parent from your Kics account, there are a few different ways to go about it.
Note: The following methods will delete the specified user’s account and all of their content. If you only want to remove content, please see the next section.
If you have added a child or parent using the Add a User interface:
1. Log in to your Kics account.
2. Click on the Users tab on the left-hand side of the screen.
3. Locate the user you wish to remove and click on their name in the list.
4. On the right-hand side of the screen, under Actions, click on Remove from Account.
5. If prompted to confirm that you want to remove this user from your account, click Yes.
6. The user will be removed from your Kics account and their content will be deleted.
How to change privacy settings for a child or parent
The Kics Parent Portal allows parents and children to share important information and stay in communication. In order to login, you will first need to change your privacy settings. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the Parent Portal home screen.
2. Select Settings from the menu that appears.
3. On the Settings page, under Login Settings, click on the account you want to change your privacy setting for.
4. Underneath Account Privacy Settings, you will see two options: Public and Private. Choose which option you want to use for this account. You can also choose to have this account be password protected.
5. Enter your password in the appropriate field and click on Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
6. Congratulations! Your privacy settings for this account have been changed!
How to report abuse or neglect of a child
If you have reason to believe that a child is being abused or neglected, it is important to take action. There are several ways to report abuse or neglect, and Kics Parent Portal offers detailed instructions on how to login and report abuse or neglect.
To start, you will need to know the child's full name and ID number. To find out the child's ID number, you can access their Kics profile through the "My Profile" section of the Parent Portal. Once you have this information, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Parent Portal account. If you don't have an account yet, sign up now at www.kics.com/parentportal.
2. Click on "My Profile."
3. On the "Details" tab, under "Profile Information," click on "ID Number." You will now see the child's ID number listed next to their name.
4. Next, you will need to find out the location of the abuse or neglect incident. You can do this by clicking on the "Location" tab and looking for a blue flag next to the location where the abuse or neglect took place. This flag will indicate that there is
How to get help with a problem on Kics Parent Portal
If you're having trouble logging in to your Parent Portal account, there are a few quick and easy steps you can take to get help.
First, check to see if you've entered the correct email address and password. Make sure that you have entered your parent portal login information exactly as it appears on your Kics account. If you still can't log in, try resetting your password by clicking on the "Forgot Password" link on the main menu of your Parent Portal account.
