How to login to the Joint Staff Portal
To login to the Joint Staff Portal, follow these steps:
1. Go to http://www.defense.gov/jsp/.
2. On the home page, click on "Joint Staff Portal."
3. In the "Login" box, enter your user name and password. If you have not yet registered for the Joint Staff Portal, you will be prompted to do so before you can continue. If you have already registered for the portal, your User ID and Password are displayed in the "Login" box.
4. Click on the "Log In" button to log in to the portal.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, follow these instructions to change it.:
1. Log in to the website.
2. Click on βMy Accountβ in the top left corner of the screen.
3. Click on βForgotten your password?β in the sidebar on the right side of the screen.
4. Enter your email address and click on βSubmitβ. A new password will be sent to this email address.
5. Enter your new password and click on βVerifyβ. You are now logged in to the website with the new password.
How to logout of the Joint Staff Portal
If you need to log out of the Joint Staff Portal, follow these steps:
1. Click the Logout link on the upper right-hand corner of the home page.
2. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields and click Logout.
How to report a problem with the Joint Staff Portal
If you encounter a problem with the Joint Staff Portal, there are several ways to report it.
The first step is to try to solve the problem yourself. If that doesnβt work, you can reach out to your organizationβs support team. They can help you diagnose and resolve the issue.
If you have already contacted your support team and the problem still persists, you can submit a problem report through the Joint Staff Portal. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Joint Staff Portal.
2. In the top left corner of the screen, click on βSettingsβ.
3. Under βProblem Reportingβ, click on βSubmit a Problem Reportβ.
4. Fill out the form and click on βSubmit Reportβ.
