Horry County Schools has released a new Self Service Portal that allows parents and guardians to view student information, sign up for newsletters and updates, and make payments. In this tutorial, we will show you how to login and use the Self Service Portal.
How to login to Horry County Schools Self Service Portal
To login to the Horry County Schools Self Service Portal, follow these steps:
1. In your web browser, go to www.horrycountyschools.org.
2. Log in with your Horry County Schools username and password. If you have not created a username and password, you will need to do so now.
3. On the left-hand side of the screen, under “My Account”, click “Login”.
4. Enter your email address and password, and click “Log In”.
5. Under “My Profile”, click “Manage My Accounts” to view your account information or click “Change Password” to change your password.
How to create an account
Login screen:
If you are not already logged in, enter your name and email address below. Your password will be sent to the email address you provide. If you have forgotten your password, click here to reset it. If you have any questions or problems logging in, please contact them at [email protected].
How to use the Horry County Schools Self Service Portal
Login to the self-service portal by clicking on the login link on the top right of the home page. Enter your username and password and click Log In.
You will be greeted with a page that looks something like this:
In the left column, you will see your name as it appears on your student ID card or driver's license. In the middle column, you will see all of the schools in Horry County that you are authorized to access. Below each school is a drop-down menu that allows you to select which grades you would like to view. The right column provides links to additional information about that school, such as its website address and phone number.
To view an individual student's record, click on their name in the Students section of the home page and then select View Record from the drop-down menu that appears. You will be taken to a new page where you can view all of the information about that student, including their grades, test scores, attendance records, etc.
How to change your password
Horry County Schools has a secure self service portal where you can change your password. To login, follow these steps:
1. Log in using your school ID and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgotten Your Password" link at the top of the page and enter your ID and last four digits of your social security number. You will then be able to create a new password.
2. Click on the "My Accounts" button above the main menu bar. This will take you to a page where you can view all of your account information, including your current password.
3. Click on the "Change Password" link next to your name on the My Accounts page. This will take you to a form where you can enter your current password and new password. Make sure that both passwords are different from each other and that they are at least 8 characters long.
