How to update your contact information
If you have changed your name, address, or phone number since registering with Herndon Family Medicine, please follow these steps to update your information:
1. Log in to the Patient Portal.
2. On the main menu, select My Profile.
3. On the My Profile page, click on Update Your Contact Information.
4. Enter your new contact information into the appropriate fields and click Save.
How to schedule an appointment

Then, in the "Address Book" section, enter your phone number and click "Add New". If you have medication that you need to continue taking, but have run out of your prescription, there are a few ways that you can request a refill. You can call your doctor's office, or you can use the Herndon Family Medicine Patient Portal.
To use the Patient Portal, you'll first need to create an account. Once you have an account, log in and click on "My Prescriptions."
From here, you'll need to select the "Refills" tab. On this tab, you'll see a list of all of your current prescriptions. To refill one of your prescriptions, simply click on the "Request Refill" button next to the prescription that you want to refill.
You will then be asked to provide your insurance information, as well as the drug name and dosage. Next, you will need to confirm the refill request by clicking on the "Confirm Refill Request" button. Once the refill has been processed, you will receive an email notification that tells you what drug was refilled and when it will expire.
