If you are a Ham Radio student, you will want to be sure to register for an account on the Hams Student Portal. This website is designed to help students connect with each other and with resources available to them as they pursue their Amateur Radio hobby. Follow these simple steps to register and start using the Hams Student Portal:
First, go to the Hams Student Portal home page. You can find this page by clicking on the “Hams Student Portal” link on the main menu of ARRL’s website or by searching for “Hams Student Portal” on the ARRL website.
Once you are on the Hams Student Portal home page, click on the “Register an Account” link in the upper-left corner of the page. This will take you to a new page where you will need to provide some basic information about yourself.
On the “Registration Form” page, you will need to provide your name, email address, and telephone number. After you have completed this information, click on the “Submit Registration Form” button.

How to login to the Hams Student Portal
To login to the Hams Student Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Click on the " Login " button on the top right-hand corner of the home page.
2. Enter your student ID number and password in the appropriate fields and click on the " Log In " button.
3. You will be redirected to the main Hams Student Portal page.
How to find your MyHams account
If you have not already created a MyHams account, you can create one by following these steps:
1. Log in to MyHams.com.
2. Click on the “My Accounts” tab located at the top of the page.
3. Click on the “Create Account” link located in the “My Academics” section.
4. Fill out the required information and click on the “Create Account” button.
Once your account has been created, you will be redirected to your MyHams home page where you will find your MyHams login information.
To log in to MyHams:
1. Enter your username (the first part of your MyHams ID) in the top text box and then click on the “Log In” button.
2. Enter your password in the lower text box and then click on the “Log In” button.
3. If you have forgotten your password, please click on the “Forgot Password?” link located near the bottom of the MyHams home page and follow the instructions that appear.
How to manage your MyHams account
If you are a new student at Hamline University, or have not used MyHams in awhile, follow these steps to login:
1. Select MyHams from the Hamline University homepage.
2. Enter your NetID and Password in the login fields.
3. Click Log In.
4. If you are already logged in, your user profile will appear on the right side of the page.
5. In the header of each page under MyHams, click Settings to change your preferences.
6. Click Academics to manage your course schedule and grades, and Student Life to view your account details and connect with campus resources.
How to add/remove courses
In order to add or remove courses from your Ham Student Portal, you will need to login and navigate to the Course Management tab. From here, you can select Add/Remove Courses and follow the on-screen instructions.
How to update your contact information
If you have changed your contact information, you can update it on the Hams Student Portal. To login to the Hams Student Portal, follow these steps:
1. Click on the “My Account” link at the top of the homepage.
2. Click on the “Edit Profile” link next to your contact information.
3. Enter your current contact information in the appropriate fields and click on the “Update Profile” button.

How to report a problem with the Hams Student Portal
If you experience a problem logging into the Hams Student Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Log in to your student portal account by clicking on the “My Account” link in the top right corner of the homepage.
2. Click on the “Report a Problem” link in the menu bar at the top of the page.
3. Fill out the form as best as you can and submit it.
