Garrett County Schools (GCS) is excited to launch its new Parent Portal! The Parent Portal provides parents and legal guardians with easy access to their studentβs grades, attendance, rebellions, and other important information. To login and get started, follow these simple steps:
1. Go to http://www.garrettcountyschools.org/parentportal and click on the βLoginβ link in the top navigation bar.
2. Enter your email address and password in the fields that appear and click on the βLoginβ button to proceed.
3. Your Parent Portal account will be created automatically and you will be redirected to the home page.

To login to the Garrett County Schools Parent Portal, please follow these steps:
-Click on the "Login" link in the top right corner of the Parent Portal home page.
-Enter your username and password.
-Click "Log In."
How to manage your account
If you are a parent at Garrett County Schools, you can access your account and manage your settings by logging in to the Parent Portal. You will need to create a username and password to login. Once you have logged in, you will be able to view all of your account information, including your student records, schedules, and communication preferences. You can also create new accounts for other family members or caregivers, or manage account settings such as notification preferences and password recovery options.
How to update your contact information
If you have changed your contact information, please login to the Parent Portal and update your information. If you have not changed your contact information, please continue to use the Parent Portal to access important school and district information.
How to report a issue with Garrett County Schools
If you are having difficulty logging into the Garrett County Schools Parent Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Open your web browser and type in the address bar: gcps.k12.va.us
2. Click on the login link in the lower right corner of the screen
3. Enter your user name and password (both of which are the same as your username on GCPS email account)
4. Click on the "Log In" button next to your user name
5. You will be taken to a screen where you can report an issue with Garrett County Schools.
