How to login to the Fhws Application Portal
To login to the Fhws Application Portal, follow these steps:

How to create an account
If you are not registered with Fhws Portal, you can register now. Follow these simple steps:
1. Go to the Login Page of Fhws Portal at https://portal.fhwa.dot.gov/Login/.
2. Enter your Username and Password in the respective fields and click on the Login button.
3. You will be redirected to the My Account page, where you will be able to login or create an account if you don't have one already.
4. If you are already registered with Fhws Portal, enter your Username and Password in the appropriate fields on the My Account page and click on the Login button.
How to register for a new vehicle
If you are new to the State of Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicle Services (Fhws), or if you have forgotten your login information, you can register for a new vehicle here.

Once on the registration page, find the “New Vehicle Registration” button in the upper right corner and click it.
On the “New Vehicle Registration” page that opens, enter your full name, date of birth, driver license number, and email address in the appropriate fields.
Then, click the “Register Now” button to continue.
You will be asked to provide your credit card information next.

How to renew your registration
If you have not renewed your registration in the past, please do so now! The FHWS Application Portal will be unavailable after October 15th, 2017. If you are unable to renew your registration, we suggest that you contact the FHWS office to inquire about other ways to access your files or casework.
The FHWS Application Portal can be accessed by clicking on "Login" on the header of the website's home page. To renew your registration, click on "Registration" and enter your login information. You'll need to verify your identity and update any personal information that has changed since last registering. After you've completed the renewal process, click on "Logout" at the bottom of the page to return to the homepage.
