How to make a reservation for your trip
If you are planning a trip with Eurail, you will need to make a reservation through their online portal. The process is relatively simple and the steps are outlined below.
1. Log in to your account at www.eurail.com.
2. Select “Reservations” from the main menu on the left side of the screen.
3. On the Reservations page, click on the “Create a New Reservation” link in the upper right corner of the page.
4. Enter your desired travel dates in the “Start and End Dates” field and select your rail type from the drop-down menu next to it (e.g., InterCity or Eurostar). You can also choose to include a companion if you have someone else traveling with you. If you are only traveling by train, please leave the companion field blank, as Eurail does not offer group reservations for solo travelers). How to make changes to your reservation
If you have made a reservation using the Eurail Reservation Portal, and would like to make changes to your reservation, please follow these steps:
- Log in to the Eurail Reservation Portal (https://reservations.eurail.com/).
- Click on "My Reservations" in the upper right corner.
- Click on the reservation you would like to make changes to.
- On the left side of the screen, under "My Reservations Details", click on "Edit Details".
- In the "Edit Details" window, under "Select your travel dates", select a different date or change the travel date range.
- If you would like to change your train type, select from the list of available train types and click on "Change Type".
- If you would like to add a stop along your route, type in the name of the town or city and click on "Add Stop".
- If you want to change your sleeping accommodation type or number of beds, click on "Change Type" and then select from the list of available accommodation types.
- If you want to make any other changes, please click on "Save Changes".
Cancellation Policy
If for any reason you need to cancel your Eurail reservation, please follow these instructions:
-Click on the link that says "Cancel my reservation" below the "My reservations" tab.
-Enter your reservation number and click on the "Cancel my reservation" button.
-Please note that if you cancel your reservation within 72 hours of purchase, you will receive a 100% refund. If you cancel your reservation more than 72 hours before departure, you will receive a 50% refund.
Ticketing Fees
