What is Course Portal?
Course Portal is a web-based course management system designed to help instructors manage and track student progress. It is available as a free download from the University of Colorado's website. To login to your account, follow these steps:
1. Log in using your NetID and password. If you have forgotten your NetID or password, please contact the Help Desk at (303) 492-6251.
2. Click on My Courses in the left nav bar. This will display all of your courses, including any enrollments you have made for those courses. Each course has its own page with all of the relevant information, such as title, instructor, course content, and much more.
3. Click on the course you want to access its specific page (such as Course Description). On this page you will be able to see all of the information for that particular course, such as enrollment information, due dates, and more.
How to Login to Course Portal?
If you are not already logged in to the Course Portal, go to https://my.uwaterloo.ca/courses and sign in with your Waterloo ID and password. Once you are logged in, click on the My Courses tab at the top of the page to see your current course and its associated portal pages.
To access your course's portal pages, first click on the name of your course in the list on the left hand side of My Courses. This will take you to a page where you can see all of the portal pages associated with this course. (You may need to scroll down to see all of the pages.)
To access a specific portal page, click on its name in the list on the left hand side of My Courses. This will take you directly to that page without having to go through the entire course overview page first.

How to Edit My Profile on Course Portal?

2. On the left side of the screen, click Transcripts.
3. On the Transcripts page, click View My Transcripts.
4. On the My Transcripts page, under My Courses, select the course for which you want to view your transcript information.
5. Under My Transcripts, at the bottom of the page, click View My Transcripts Details to see your transcript information.
How to Enroll in Courses on Course Portal?
In order to enroll in a course on the Course Portal, you will first need to login. Follow these steps to login:
1. Click the "Login" link at the top of the page.
2. Enter your user name and password.
3. Click "Log In."
4. You will be taken to the My Courses page.
5. On this page, you will see a list of all of your courses, as well as any notes or assignments you have completed for those courses. You can also find out more about each course by clicking its title.
6. To enroll in a course, click on the "Enroll" button next to its title. You will be taken to the enrollment form, where you can enter your student name and email address. If you have not already registered for classes, you will be prompted to do so now. Once you have completed the enrollment form, click "Submit."
7. You will be taken back to the My Courses page, where your new enrollment will appear under "Enrolled."
