How to login to Core Butte Student Portal
To login to the Core Butte Student Portal, follow these steps:

How to access your student records
To access your student records, you first need to login. When logging in, you will be taken to the My Account page. From here, you can access your student record, grades, and other important information.

1. From the home screen on your computer, click the "SJSU" logo in the upper-left corner of the screen.
2. Select "My Account."
3. Enter your SJSU username and password (these are the same as your NetID). If you have forgotten your username or password, please contact your campus security or webmaster for assistance.
4. Click "Login."
5. Enter your SJSU email address if you have one and click "Log In." Your login status will be "Active." If you do not have an email address associated with your SJSU account, then your login status will be "Inactive."
How to add or update your contact information
Adding or updating your contact information is easy with the Core Butte Student Portal. Log in to the portal and click on the "Contact" tab. You can enter your name, email address, and phone number in the appropriate fields and click "Save." You'll then be able to access your contact information anytime you need it on the portal.
How to change your password
The Core Butte Student Portal has a password reset feature. To change your password, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the student portal using your user name and password.
2. On the main menu, click on "My Account."
3. On the "My Account" page, under "Change My Password," enter your current password and new password in the appropriate fields, and click on the "Change Password" button.
4. You will be prompted to confirm your new password. Click on the "Confirm New Password" button to update your account information.
