How to login to Cooper Parent Portal
To access the Cooper Parent Portal, you will need to login. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Go to cooperschools.com and sign in.
2. On the left-hand side of the screen, click on "Parents & Students."
3. On the right-hand side of the screen, click on "Login."
4. Enter your email address and password into the fields provided and click on "Log In."
5. You will now be presented with a page that shows your current account information and your username and password. Make sure that you remember this information as you will need it to log in again in the future.
How to create a parent account
Step 1: Log in to your account.
Step 2: Click on the "My Account" link located in the top right corner of the screen.
Step 3: Enter your username and password. If you have not already registered with Cooper Parent Portal, you will be prompted to do so. Once you have logged in, you will see the "My Account" page.
Step 4: On the "My Account" page, click on the "Add a New Parent" link located in the top left corner of the page.
Step 5: Enter your first and last name in the required fields and click on the "Create Parent Account" button. You will now be taken to the "Parent Portal Login Page."
Step 6: Enter your email address in the "Email Address" field and click on the "Log In" button. You will now be taken to the "Parent Portal Login Page."
Step 7: Enter your username and password in the fields provided and click on the "Log In" button. You will now be taken to the "Parent Portal Login Page."

How to manage your child's account
If you're a parent of a child who attends Cooper Middle School, you're likely very familiar with the Cooper Parent Portal. The Parent Portal allows you to manage your child's account, including accessing their grades and attendance records, setting up email and text notifications, and more. Here are three tips to help you get started using the Parent Portal:
First, log in to the Parent Portal by going to cooperschools.com/parentportal. You'll need your school ID and password. If you don't have these yet, please contact your school's office.
Once you're logged in, click the "Your Child's Account" tab on the left hand side of the screen. This tab contains all of your child's account information. From here, you can access their grades, attendance records, digital portfolios and other important information.
You can also set up email and text notifications for your child's account. To do this, click the "Notifications" tab on the left hand side of the screen and select the types of notifications you would like to receive (email or text). You can also customize which messages appear in your notification inboxes.
How to report abuse or neglect
If you believe that your child is being abused or neglected, there are several ways to report the situation. The first step is to gather as much information as possible about what happened: when did it start, where does the child usually spend their free time, who were the other children involved? Once you have a clear picture of the situation, you can contact the authorities. Here are some more tips on how to report abuse or neglect:
1. Contact your local child protective services (CPS) agency.
2. Use the online reporting form on the CPS website.
3. Call the National Child Abuse Hotline at 1-800-4-A-CHILD (1-800-422-4453).
4. Write a letter to your child's teacher or administrator detailing what happened and asking for help.
How to block a parent

1. Log in to your account on the Cooper Parent Portal.
2. Click on "Blocking Parents" at the top of the page.
3. Select the parent you want to block from logging in to the portal and click on "Block".
4. The blocked parent will no longer be able to log in to the portal.
How to change a password for your parent account
If you need to change your parent account password, please follow these instructions:
1. Log into your parent account at www.cooperparentportal.com.
2. Click on the “My Account” tab on the right side of the screen.
3. Scroll down to the “Password” section and click on the “Change Password” button.
4. Enter the new password in the “New Password” field and confirm it by clicking on the “Change Password” button again.
5. Click on the “Log Out” button at the bottom of the page to finish changing your password.
How to unsubscribe from emails from Cooper Parent Portal
To unsubscribe from emails from Cooper Parent Portal, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the "My Account" page.
2. Click on the "Subscriptions" link next to the email you wish to unsubscribe from.
3. On the "Subscription Settings" page, select the "Unsubscribe" button.
