Whether you are a new student at Columbia Southern or have been attending for years, you will need to login to access your accounts and resources on the Columbia Southern Student Portal. If you have forgotten your password or cannot remember how to login, this guide will show you how to do it.
How to login to the Columbia Southern Student Portal
Step 1: Log into your MyColumbia account. If you do not have a MyColumbia account, create one now by clicking on the link in the blue bar at the top of this page.
Step 2: Click on the Login link in the blue bar at the top of this page. Enter your MyColumbia username and password to log in. If you have forgotten your MyColumbia username or password, please click on the Forgot Your Password link and enter your email address to receive a new password. You will then be able to log in to your MyColumbia account and retrieve your username and password.
Step 3: Click on the Student tab in the blue bar at the top of this page. Enter your Columbia Southern student ID number (examples are 0000-9999) and click on Login. Your login information will be displayed automatically. If you do not have a Columbia Southern student ID number, please contact [email protected] for more information.

How to use the Student Portal

Login using your NetID and Password
If you have forgotten your NetID or Password, please visit the Help Desk located in the Student Union.
If you are having difficulty logging in, please contact the Help Desk at (803) 893-6000.
Tips for using the Student Portal
1. Log in to the portal using your Columbia Southern username and password. If you don't know your username or password, please contact your campus IT department.
2. Click on "My Academics" on the left hand side of the screen. You will see all of your current courses and their respective grades. You can also view your transcripts and grade point averages (GPA) under "Academics."
3. Under "Courses," click on the course you want to view information for. You will be taken to a page with all of the information for that course, such as: lecture notes, exams, quizzes, and other student materials.
4. In order to submit work for grading or receive credit for coursework completed, you must first login to Blackboard (see below for more information).
5. Click on "Submit Work" on the right hand side of the screen to submit assignments and exams online. You can also print out an assignment or exam from this page if you need to take it home with you.
6. To view your grades for a course, click on "Grades." Your GPA will also be displayed under "Academics."
