How to login
If you have not been able to sign in to the Climate Change Portal, there are a few things that may be wrong. First, check to see if your browser is up-to-date. If not, go to your browser's help menu and look for updates. Next, make sure you have the correct username and password. If you have not changed them since you registered with the portal, they are [email protected] and password. If these do not work, please contact them at [email protected] and we will help you troubleshoot your login.
How to use the Climate Change Portal
If you are a new user of the Climate Change Portal, please follow these steps to login:
1. Go to the home page of the Climate Change Portal and click on “Login” in the top right corner.
2. Enter your email address and password. If you have not registered for the Portal yet, you will be prompted to do so.
3. Click on “Login” in the top right corner once again to log in.
4. You will now be on the main page of the Portal. In the top left corner, you will see a green button with a symbol ( ). This is your main menu where you can find all of the different sections of the Portal. The first section is “Home” and contains general information about the Portal and how to use it. The second section is “Research” and gives you access to all of their research resources on climate change. The third section is “Tools” and contains all of their tools that you can use to explore climate change data more easily. How to report a climate change issue
If you are experiencing a climate change issue, please report it through the Climate Change Portal. The portal allows users to report information about their climate change experiences, including weather extremes and air quality issues.
How to find your local station
To find your local station, please visit the Climate Change Portal's "Find Your Station" page. This page will show you all of the data for your area and what updates have been made to the web site recently.
How to make a complaint about a climate change issue
If you have a complaint about a climate change issue, the first thing to do is to try and resolve it with the person or organisation responsible. If that doesn’t work, you can make a complaint through the Climate Change Portal.
To make a complaint through the Climate Change Portal:
1. Go to the Climate Change Portal (https://www.climatechangeportal.gov.uk/).
2. Click on ‘Make a complaint’ in the main menu.
3. Fill in your details and select the type of complaint you’re making (for example, ‘I’m not happy with how my energy supplier is dealing with climate change’).
4. Click on ‘Submit your complaint’.
How the Climate Change Portal works
The Climate Change Portal is a website that provides information about climate change and ways to reduce your carbon footprint. The website has a login area where you can sign in to access your account information,climate change resources and tools, and email notifications about new topics and blog posts.
To create an account, enter your name and email address in the appropriate fields on the login page. You will then be prompted to create a password. After you have signed in, you will see the main menu on the left side of the screen. The first item on the menu is "Your Account." This screen contains your name, email address, password, and account status (active or inactive). Below this are three tabs: "My Climate Change Resources," "My Tools," and "Blog."
Your My Climate Change Resources tab contains a list of all of the resources that are available to you as part of your account. These resources include articles, videos, climate change calculators, and more. To access any of these resources, click on the title of the resource that you want to access. For example, if you want to view an article titled "How to Reduce Your Carbon Footprint," you would click on that title
