How to login to the City Staffing Web Portal
To log in to the City Staffing Web Portal, follow these instructions:
1. Go to www.cityofnewportnews.com and log in using your username and password.
2. Click on the “Portal” link on the main page of the website.
3. On the “Portal” page, click on “Login” in the upper-left corner of the screen.
4. On the “Login” screen, enter your username and password and click “OK”.
How to navigate through the Web Portal
If you have never been to the City Staffing Web Portal, now is a good time to familiarize yourself with its layout. The first thing you will see when you open the portal is the home page, which provides general information about the portal and links to various pages.
To get started, click on “Login” in the upper right corner of the home page. This will take you to a new page where you can enter your login credentials. If you are an administrator of the portal, your credentials will look something like this: [email protected]. If not, your credentials may look different.
Once you have entered your login credentials, the next page that will open is the “My Account” page. On this page, you can view all of your logged-in activity on the portal as well as manage your account information.

If you need to erase your account and start over, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the City Staffing Web Portal.
2. Click on "My Account" located in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Underneath "Your Account Information," click on "Erase Account."
4. Enter your email address and password in the appropriate fields, and click on "Erase Account."
5. You will be redirected to a confirmation page. Click on "Yes, Remove My Account."
Changing your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you would like to change it, you can do so through the City Staffing Web Portal.
Adding new employees
Adding new employees to the City Staffing Web Portal can be done in a few simple steps. The first step is to open the City Staffing Web Portal and sign in. Once you are logged in, click on the "Employees" tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Next, click on the "New Employee" button on the right-hand side of the screen. The new employee form will pop up. To fill out the form, please enter all of your information below.

Deleting an employee
If you want to delete an employee from the portal, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Click the "Employees" link on the left side of the screen.
3. Select the employee you want to delete from the list of employees.
4. On the right side of the screen, click the "Delete" button.
Reporting a problem with the Web Portal
If you are having problems logging in to the Web Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Make sure that your browser is up-to-date and has the latest security patches.
2. Make sure that you have the correct web portal account username and password.
