City of Cape Town Portal How to Login
Cape Town is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Africa. It is known for its stunning architecture, beaches and Table Mountain. The City of Cape Town Portal provides users with the ability to login to a variety of city services such as government websites, libraries, municipal offices and more.
City of Cape Town Online Services
Login to the City of Cape Town portal using your email address and password. If you have forgotten your login details, click the 'Forgot Password' link on the login screen.
Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the main page of the City of Cape Town portal. From here, you can access a range of online services including:
- My Account - This page allows you to manage your account information, including registering for online services, logging in and viewing your account history.
- My Alerts - You can set up alerts to be notified when specific events happen within the City of Cape Town. For example, you can be notified when a road is closed or when there is a fire in a particular area.
- News & Events - This page lists upcoming events and news items within the City of Cape Town. You can also search for specific events by keyword or category.
- Maps & Directions - This page provides directions to various locations in the City of Cape Town. You can also view street maps and zoom in on specific areas.
- Service Status - This page displays the current service status for various facilities within the City of Cape
How to update your personal information
If you have ever registered with the City of Cape Town portal, then you will be familiar with the process of editing your personal information. Navigate to the ‘My Account’ tab on the homepage and follow these steps:
1. Click on ‘My Profile’ in the top left corner of the page.
2. On the My Profile page, click on ‘Update Personal Information’ in the top right corner.
3. Enter your password and click on ‘Update Personal Information’ again.
4. In the ‘First Name’ field, type your first name or initial.
5. In the ‘Last Name’ field, type your last name or full name.
6. In the ‘Email Address’ field, type your email address.
7. In the ‘Phone Number’ field, type your phone number (including area code).
8. Click on ‘Submit Info’ at the bottom of the page to update your personal information.
Your rights when using the City of Cape Town Portal
The City of Cape Town Portal enables you to access a wealth of information and services. The following are your rights when using the Portal:
- Access the Portal from any device, including your smartphone or computer.
- Keep your password confidential. No one else has access to it.
- Use the Portal for personal use only. You cannot sell, rent, or lease access to the Portal.
- Report any problems you encounter to the City’s Support Team.
