If you're new to Cigna, or just need help logging in to your Provider Portal, read on for instructions.
To start, click the Cigna logo in the upper left corner of your web browser.
On the next page, click "Provider Portal."
If you're not a Cigna customer, you'll see a login form on this page. If you are a Cigna customer, you can find more information about logging in below.
How to login to the Cigna Provider Portal
CignaProviderPortal is a mobile-friendly website that helps providers manage their care, including appointments and payments. To login, click on the login link in the top right corner of the homepage.
Please enter your email address and password to log in. You will be prompted to create a new password if you have not previously registered with CignaProviderPortal.com. After logging in, you will be able to access all of the features of the website, including your account information, appointments, payments and more.
What you will need to login to the Provider Portal
To login to the Cigna Provider Portal, you will need your Cigna username and password. You can find these information by logging in to the Cigna account that you use to access the Provider Portal.
Once you have logged in, follow these steps to access the Provider Portal:
1. Click on "Provider Portal" on the main menu bar.
2. Under "Provider Portal Content," click on "Login."
3. Enter your Cigna username and password and click on "Log In."
If you have forgotten your username or password, please contact customer service at 1-866-825-2428 or via their online form.
How to change your password
To change your password, log in to your account on the Cigna Provider Portal and go to your Profile page. From here, you can enter your new password in the Password box.
How to find your MyCigna account
If you don't have a MyCigna account, create one now. You can find the sign-in page for MyCigna on the Cigna Provider Portal home page. Enter your email address and password and click Log In. If you have an existing Cigna account, log in using that information.
How to update your contact information
If you have changed your contact information through the Cigna Provider Portal, you can update your information by clicking on the "My Account" tab and then clicking on the "Contact Info" link.
How to unsubscribe from email notifications
If you no longer wish to receive email notifications from Cigna, you can unsubscribe by following these steps:
1. Log in to your Cigna Provider Portal account.
2. Under the "My Account" heading, click on "Notifications and Alerts."
3. On the "Notifications and Alerts" page, under the "Email Notifications" heading, click on "Unsubscribe."
4. Click on the confirmation link that appears to unsubscribe from all future email notifications.
How to set up automatic payments with Cigna
If you're already a Cigna customer and want to start automatically paying your bills, follow these steps:
1. Log in to your Cigna Provider Portal Account. (If you don't have an account, create one now.)
2. On the left-hand side of the screen, click on My Bills.
3. On the My Bills page, under Automatic Payments, click on Add New Automatic Payment Method.
4. On the Add New Automatic Payment Method page, enter the following information:
- Your Cigna Provider Portal Username and Password
- The Billing Cycle for which this payment will be processed (month/year)
5. Click on the blue Save button at the bottom of the page.
6. When you're ready to start processing your automatic payments, go back to the My Bills page and select your automatic payment method from the list of options. You'll see a green Processing Status next to your method's name.
How to dispute a bill
If you believe that you received services that were not rendered, or that the charges associated with those services were excessive, you may dispute the bill. To dispute a bill:
1. Log in to your Cigna Provider Portal account.
2. Click on Dispute Bill on the main menu.
3. Enter your billing account number and the service dates for which you believe you were not properly compensated.
4. Click Submit Dispute. Cigna will review your dispute and contact you if we have any questions or need more information from you.
