Charlton School Parent Portal is a new online tool that allows parents to manage their students’ attendance, grades, and more. To get started, parents need to login first. Here’s how to do it:
1) Go to Charlton School Parent Portal
2) Enter your username and password
3) You will be redirected to the My Accounts page
4) On this page, you will see all of your students’ information (including their contact information if you have provided it)
5) Click on the student’s name to view their details
6) Under “Login Options,” click on the “Login with Facebook” button
7) Enter your Facebook username and password (you will be prompted to update your Facebook privacy settings first)
8) Click on the “Log In” button to log in successfully

How to add a new student
If you are a parent or guardian of a student at Charlton School, you can add them to their online student portal. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Go to the "My Charlton School" section of their website and click on "Add a Student".
2. Enter the student's name and email address, and click on "Next".
3. Click on the link that says "Create an Account".
4. Enter your password, confirm your password, and click on "Create Account".
5. You will now be taken to the student's account page. On this page, you will be able to see all of their information, including their scores and grades. You can also access their calendar and files.
How to edit or delete a student
If you need to edit or delete a student, please login to their Parent Portal and follow these instructions:
1. Go to the Parent Portal homepage.
2. Click on the “Student” tab.
3. Click on the “Edit” or “Delete” link for the student you want to edit or delete.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete your task.
How to report a incident
If you have a problem with your child's school, you can use the Charlton School Parent Portal to report the incident.
To report an incident on the Charlton School Parent Portal:
1. Log into your account on the Charlton School Parent Portal.
2. Click on “My Account” in the top right corner of the page.
3. In the “My Accounts” section, click on “Incidents”.
4. On the “Incidents” page, click on the incident that you want to report.
5. Complete the form and submit it to the school.
How to pay for school
The Charlton School Parent Portal has several payment options to choose from. You can pay online using a credit or debit card, or you can mail in a check. You can also pay by phone. To pay by phone, call (978) 962-9351 and press 2 to speak to the payment office.
How to view the student’s grades
Charlton School Parent Portal allows you to view your student’s grades as well as their attendance record. Log in to the portal by going to http://www. CharltonSchools.com/parent-portal and clicking on “Login.” You will need your school ID number and password.
Once logged in, click on “ grades ” on the left-hand side of the screen. This will take you to a list of all of your students’ grades, with the most recent grade at the top of the list. You can also click on any student’s name to see their entire grade report, including any comments from teachers or parents. If you would like to view a specific student’s grade history, select that student from the list and click on “ view grade history .” This will take you to a page with a table showing each grade for that student, as well as the points earned for that grade. Points are based on a grading system that takes into account both the academic content of a lesson and the amount of effort exerted by students in that lesson. How to change a student’s password
If you are a parent of a Charlton School student, you can change his or her password by following these steps:
1. Log in to the Charlton School Parent Portal at https://parentportal.charlton.k12.il.us/.
2. Click on the “ students” tab in the main menu on the left side of the screen.
3. On the students tab, click on the name of your student to view their information.
4. Underneath their name, click on the “user profile” link to open their user profile page.
5. On their user profile page, click on the “password” link to open the password change form.
6. Enter your student’s current password in the “password” field and choose a new password in the “new password” field.
7. Click on the “submit” button to save your changes and return to the main menu on the left side of your screen.

How to unsubscribe from e-mail notifications
If you would like to unsubscribe from e-mail notifications for updates from the Charlton School Parent Portal, you can do so by following these steps:
1. Log in to the Charlton School Parent Portal.
2. Click on the "My Account" tab at the top of the page.
3. Under "E-mail Preferences," click on the "Unsubscribe" link next to the notification e-mail you would like to unsubscribe from.
4. Click on the " unsubscribe" button that appears in your e-mail notification box.
