With the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) Secure Internet Portal, you can securely access your account and manage your online transactions. If you need to login to your account or make a purchase, follow these steps:
First, sign in to your Caltrans Secure Internet Portal account.
Next, click the My Account tab on the main toolbar.
Click Login.

How to login to the Caltrans Secure Internet Portal
To login to the Caltrans Secure Internet Portal, please click on the following link: https://secure.dot.ca.gov/. Once you have logged in, you will be taken to the home page of the portal. How to reset your password
If you have forgotten your password, or need to reset it, you can do so by following these instructions:
1. Log into the secure portal using your user ID and password.
2. Click on the "Forgot Your Password?" link in the login screen.
3. Enter your user ID and click on the "Reset Password" button.
4. Enter your new password and confirm it.
How to change your account email address
If you want to change your Caltrans email address, you can do so by logging into the secure portal and following these simple steps:
1. Go to https://portal.dot.ca.gov/login/.
2. Enter your login credentials and hit "Log In."
3. Select the "My Account" tab on the left side of the screen.
4. Under "Email Settings," click the link next to "Email Address."
5. Type in your new email address and hit "Update Account."
6. You're done!
How to update your personal information
If you have forgotten your Caltrans Secure Internet Portal login information, please follow these steps to retrieve it.:
1. Click on the Login link in the top right corner of the home page.
2. Enter your username and password and click Log In.
3. On the My Account page, click on Edit Profile.
