How to login to the Brown Student Portal
You can login to the Brown Student Portal by clicking on the Login link on the top right of the home page. You will be prompted for your username and password.
How to change your password
To change your Brown password, follow these steps:
-Log in to your account on the Brown Student Portal.
-Click on "My Account" in the top left of the page.
-Click on "Password."
-Select "Change Password" from the dropdown menu and enter your current password in the new password field.
-Click on "Update Password."
How to update your profile information
If you have changed your name, email address, or department since last logging in, you will need to update your profile information before you can log in. To update your profile information:
1. Click the "My Profile" tab at the top of the page.
2. Under "Personal Info," click on the appropriate link to update your information.
3. If you have changed your email address, enter that new address in the "Email" box and click on the "Update Email" button. If you have changed your name, enter that new name in the "Name" box and click on the "Update Name" button. NOTE: You will not be able to update any other information on your profile until you have updated your email and name.
How to report a problem on the Brown Student Portal
If you are having a problem logging into the Brown Student Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Go to the login screen and type in your username and password. If you have forgotten your password, click on the "Forgot Password?" link below the login form.
2. If you are still having trouble logging in, please click on the "Report a Problem" link below the login form. This will take you to a page where you can describe your problem and provide any additional information that may help us solve it.
How to unsubscribe from email notifications
If you no longer want to receive email notifications for new posts on the Brown Student Portal, you can unsubscribe by following these instructions:
Navigate to the “Settings” tab of your account on the portal. Under “Notifications,” select the list of email notifications that you would like to unsubscribe from. To unsubscribe from all email notifications, uncheck the box next to “All Emails.” Click “Save Changes.”
