Bristol Parent Portal is a new online service that allows parents of school-aged children to manage their children's school and extracurricular activities. To use the service, parents must first login. Here are instructions on how to do just that.
How to login to Bristol Parent Portal
In order to access Bristol Parent Portal you will need to login. To do this, click on the login link in the top right corner of the page and enter your email address and password. Once you have logged in, you will be able to access all of the resources that are available on the website.
How to add a child or change a parent’s contact information
Adding a child to the Bristol Parent Portal is easy. Just go to the ‘My Profile’ page, and click the ‘Add Child’ button. You’ll need to provide your child’s full name, date of birth, and email address. If you want to change your contact information for your child, just follow the same steps as above and update your email address and contact details. The Parent Portal keeps a record of all changes so that you can easily access your child’s profile from any device.
How to manage your child’s account
Bristol Parent Portal is a secure online system that provides parents with easy access to their children’s education and records. To login and manage your child’s account, follow these steps:
1. Go to BristolParentPortal.bristol.ac.uk and click on the Login link in the top right-hand corner of the page.
2. Enter your user name and password in the appropriate fields, and click on the Log In button.
3. On the main page of Bristol Parent Portal, click on My Account, and then on My Child’s Account.
4. On My Child’s Account, you will see all of your child’s accounts (including their school and college accounts) and information about their attendance, marks, progress reports and more. You can also view any messages or notifications that have been sent to you about your child’s education.
5. If you would like to change your child’s password, click on Change Password below My Child’s Account, enter your new password in the Password field and click on OK. Your child will need to remember their new password in order to continue
How to unblock your child’s account
If your child has unblocked their account on the Parent Portal, but you would like to unblock it for them, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Parent Portal and select “My Account” in the top-right corner.
2. Click on the “Edit Profile” button in the child’s profile.
3. Select the “Unblock this User” option from the dropdown menu.
4. Enter your password and click on the “Submit” button.
How to report a student behavior
If you have a concern about a student’s behavior, follow these steps to report it.
1. Log in to the Bristol Parent Portal. (Click here to learn more about the Parent Portal.)
2. Click on the “Behavior” tab.
3. Under “How to Report a Student Behavior,” click on the link that corresponds to your area of concern.
4. Complete the online form, and attach any supporting documentation if necessary.
5. Click on “Submit Report” to send the report to the school staff member responsible for addressing the behavior issue.
How to file a complaint about the school district
If you have a complaint about the Bristol school district, you can file it online. To login to the Parent Portal, click here. After logging in, you will be able to click on the "File a Complaint" link on the left-hand menu. You will then be asked to provide some basic information about your complaint. After completing this form, your complaint will be submitted to the appropriate department within the school district.
How to update your contact information
If you have registered with the Parent Portal, login to your account and click on the “My Profile” tab. If you have not registered with the Parent Portal, please follow the instructions below to create an account.
Once you have logged in, click on “My Profile” in the top left corner of the screen. Underneath your full name, email address and password, you will see a link to update your contact information. Click on this link to update your information. In addition, if you would like to receive notifications when new content is added to their blog or if there are any updates to their site policies or guidelines, please sign up for their RSS feed.
