With all the talk of housing prices skyrocketing, it's important to be as prepared as possible. In this article, we'll show you how to login to the Berkeley Housing Portal and begin your search for a new place to live.
Login
If you have never logged in to the Berkeley Housing Portal, you will need to do so before you can start using the site. Follow these instructions to login:
1. Go to the Berkeley Housing Portal home page and click on the Login link in the upper-right corner.
2. Enter your user name and password and click on the Log In button.
3. You will be taken to a confirmation page, where you can either log in or exit the login process. If you are logged in, you will be taken to the main portal page.
Housing Search
If you are looking for housing in Berkeley, the Berkeley Housing Portal is a great resource! The Housing Portal provides information on available units, pricing information, and application requirements.
To access the Housing Portal, you first need to create an account. Once you have an account, you can search for housing based on your needs and preferences. You can also view available units and pricing information.

Housing Transfers
If you are transferring to or from Berkeley, you will need to login to the Berkeley Housing Portal. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Go to bhp.berkeley.edu and sign in with your Berkeley ID.
2. Click on "Login" in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your password and click on "Log In."
4. If you are transferring from outside of Berkeley, click on "External Transfers" and then enter your information in the appropriate fields.
5. Click on "Submit."
6. You will now be logged into the Berkeley Housing Portal.
7. On the left side of the portal, click on "Transfers."
8. Under "Transfers Currently Accepting," click on "Housing Transfer."
9. On the next page, click on "Create a New Account."
10. Enter your name and email address, and then click on "Create Account."
11. You will now be taken to a page where you can create a Housing Transfer account with your new login information.

Add a roommate
If you're looking for a roommate, the Berkeley Housing Portal is a great place to start. Here's a guide on how to login and search for roommates.
First, you'll need to create an account. If you don't have one yet, sign up here. Once you have an account, you'll need to login. To do this, click on the "Log In" button in the top left corner of the homepage. You'll then need to enter your account information and password. Once you've logged in, you'll be able to search for roommates by selecting from one of the many filters available.
There are plenty of options when it comes to finding a roommate in Berkeley. You can browse by semester or by room type. You can also browse by location or by type of roommate (shared room, single room). Don't worry if you don't find what you're looking for right away. You can always refine your search by selecting different filters or by clicking on the "Advanced Search" button at the bottom of the page.
Roommate Request Form
The Berkeley Housing Portal is a valuable resource for finding roommates and housing in UC Berkeley. To use the portal, first login using your NetID and password. Once you are logged in, click on the "Roommate Request Form" link in the top menu. The Roommate Request Form will display all of the available rooms in the residence halls and apartments. You can also filter by room type, roommate type, or even floor. Use the filters to find a room that is compatible with your needs and then fill out the request form. Once you have completed the request form, click on the "Submit Request" button to send it to the housing staff. They will review your request and contact you if they have any questions.

The Berkeley Housing Portal provides residents with access to Conflict Resolution Policy and resources to help them resolve housing conflicts.
