Azure Preview Portal provides a way for IT professionals to quickly explore and experiment with new Azure features before they are released to the general public. In this article, we will show you how to login to Azure Preview Portal and explore some of the available features.
How to login to Azure Preview Portal
If you want to be able to access the Azure Preview Portal, you need to login first. To do this, open a web browser and type the following URL into the address bar:
https://preview.azure.com
Enter your user name and password and click Log In. You'll be taken to the home page of the Azure Preview Portal.
Upload a File
If you want to upload a file, you can do so by clicking the "Browse" button and selecting the file you want to upload. After you select the file, click the "Upload" button. The file will be uploaded to the blog and displayed below the article. You can also click on any of the images below to view a larger version of that image.
View Your Files
If you ever need to access your files hosted in Azure Preview Portal, you can easily do so by logging in with your account credentials.
Delete a File
If you want to delete a file from your Azure Preview Portal, follow these steps:
1. In the Azure Preview Portal, open the Files tab.
2. Select the file you want to delete.
3. On the context menu, select Delete File.
View files in your account
To view files in your account, open the Azure Preview Portal and sign in. If you don't have an Azure account yet, create one now. In the top left corner of the portal, under "My Account", click "Files". Under "Files in My Account", select the file you want to view. If you want to open a file in a new tab, select it and press CTRL+T.
Rename a file
If you want to rename a file on your computer, you can use the File Rename utility in Windows. You can also use the Azure Preview Portal URL to rename files. The following steps describe how to rename a file using the Azure Preview Portal URL.
To rename a file using the Azure Preview Portal URL:
1. Open the Azure Preview Portal.
2. In the left navigation pane, under Files, click Blob Storage.
3. In the Blob Storage pane, click the file that you want to rename.
4. In the right pane, type a new name for the file and press Enter.
5. Click Save.
Create a folder
To create a new blog section in your Azure Preview Portal, open the Azure Preview Portal, and in the top right corner, select New Section. In the New Section dialog box, enter a name for your blog section (such as Azure Preview Portal Tips), and then click OK. You will see your new blog section appear in the top left corner of the Azure Preview Portal. Next, you need to create a new blog post. In the left navigation pane of your blog section, select Posts. In the Posts pane, select Add New Post. On the POST tab of the Create New Post dialog box, enter a title for your post (such as How To: Add a Blog Section to Your Azure Preview Portal), and then click Save. You will now see your new post appear in the Posts pane of your blog section. Finally, you need to add a link to your post inside the portal. To do this, in the Posts pane of your blog section, select Edit Post. On the Links tab of the Edit Post dialog box, click Add Link. On the AddLink dialog box, enter a link to your post (for example http://azurepreviewportal-tips.com/add-a-blog-section
Change the view of your file list
If you want to see a list of your files in a different view than the default, you can use the Azure Preview Portal's File Viewer. To change the view, open the File Viewer by clicking on its icon in your portal's Favorites bar and selecting View > File Viewer. Then, select the view you want to use from the list on the left side of the window.
Find a file by name or content
There are few ways to find a file on Azure Preview Portal. You can use the search bar in the top right corner, or you can browse by content type. If you're looking for a file by name, you can use the File Explorer in the bottom left corner.
Save a changes to a file
If you make changes to a file while in the preview portal, you can save your changes by clicking on the "File" tab and then clicking on "Save Changes."
