If you are registered with Athena, you can use their Patient Portal to access a variety of your health records, including medications and allergies. In this article, we will show you how to login to the Patient Portal and get started.
How to log in to Athena Patient Portal
If you are a patient, your first step is to create an account. To create an account, click the 'Sign In' link on the main Athena page. If you have already logged in and are visiting their Patient Portal from a different website or device, please enter your username and password below. If you do not have an account yet, we will create one for you.
Once you have logged in, you will be able to access most of the features of their Patient Portal. Here are some useful tips:
- You can access your account information and recent visits by clicking on the 'My Account' tab on the left hand side of the page.
- You can book appointments, find out more about their services and find out about available appointments through the 'Services' tab on the left hand side of the page.
- You can communicate with them through their 'Contact Us' tab by filling out a contact form or emailing us at [email protected]. They will respond as soon as possible.
How to find your account number and password
If you have forgotten your account number or password, please follow these instructions to retrieve them.
1. Log in to the Athena Patient Portal.
2. On the top right of the screen, click on “Profile”.
3. Under “My Profile”, click on “Account Details”.
4. Click on “Forgot Your Password?” next to your account name to view instructions for resetting your password.

How to view your account information
If you have forgotten your password, click the “Forgot Password” link on the login screen. You will then be prompted to enter your email address and create a new password. After logging in, click the “My Account” link on the main screen to view your account information.
To add or change your contact information, click the “Contact Info” link and fill out the form. You can also update your profile picture by clicking the “Photos” tab and uploading a photo.
How to update your contact information
If you have changed your contact information, you can update it on your Athena Patient Portal. To login to your Patient Portal, go to www.athenahealth.org/patients and click on “My Account” in the top right corner. On the My Account page, click on “Edit Contact Info” in the top left corner. On the Edit Contact Info page, enter your new contact information in the fields below and click Save.
How to report a problem with the portal
If you experience a problem logging in to the Athena Patient Portal, please follow these instructions:
1. Navigate to the "Athena Patient Portal" page on the website.
2. Click on the "Login" button in the top right corner of the page.
3. Enter your user name and password into the appropriate fields and click on the "Login" button again.
4. If you are having difficulty logging in because your password is incorrect, please contact them at [email protected] for assistance.
How to unsubscribe from mailings from Athena
If you no longer want to receive mailings from Athena, you can unsubscribe by following these simple steps:
1. Log in to your account at www.athenahealth.org.
2. On the left side of the screen, under "My Account," click "Email Preferences."
3. In the "Email Preferences" window, on the "Mail Preferences" tab, under "Unsubscribe from Mailings," click the checkbox next to "Athena Health."
