If you're having trouble logging into the Alameda County Portal, here's a quick guide on how to do it.
Login for the first time
If you are a new visitor to the Alameda County Portal, or have forgotten your username or password, please follow these instructions to login.
Create an account
To create an Alameda County Portal account, follow these steps:
1. Go to alamedacounty.org and click on “Create Account.”
2. Fill out the form with your name, email address, and password. Make sure you remember your password! If you do not have a password, click on the “Forgot Your Password?” link at the bottom of the page and enter your email address to receive a temporary password sent to that address.
3. Click on the “Create Account” button to finish creating your account.
Log in to your account
1. Click the "Login" tab in the top left corner of the page.
2. Enter your username and password in the appropriate fields and click "Log In."
3. You will be taken to the main blog page. If you are not already logged in, you will be prompted to log in.
4. At the top of the page, under "My Account," click on the "Log In" link next to your username. This will take you back to the login screen where you can enter your password again.
Update your profile
If you haven't already, please update your profile on the Alameda County Portal to reflect any changes in your name or contact information. This will help us better personalize their content for you and make it easier to find when you're looking for information specific to Alameda County.
Activate your account
If you have not already done so, please login to your account at the Alameda County Portal website. Once you have logged in, click on the "My Account" tab in the upper right corner of the screen. This will display your account information and enable you to access your account's settings and content.
To activate your account, click on the "Activate My Account" link located in the "My Account" section of the Portal website. This will take you to a validation page where you will need to enter your email address and password. After you have completed the activation process, you will be able to access all of the features of your account.

Download the app
If you are new to Alameda County Portal, be sure to download the app! The app makes logging in and accessing your account super easy. Once you have downloaded the app and opened it, follow these steps to login:
1. Enter your username (the name that appears onscreen when you first log in) and password in the login fields on the home screen of the app.
2. If you have a MyAlamedaCounty Portal account, your account information will already be saved in the app. If you do not have a MyAlamedaCounty Portal account, click “Create an Account” to create one.
3. Click “Log In” to complete your login process.
Register for classes

Make a payment
If you have a Alameda County Portal account and need to make a payment, you can do so by logging in to your account and clicking on the "Payments" tab. From there, you can select the payment method you want to use and complete the necessary information.
Change your password
If you’ve forgotten your Alameda County Portal login credentials, or if you need to change your password, follow these steps:
1. Go to the Alameda County Portal home page and click the “Forgot Password?” link in the upper right corner.
2. Enter your email address in the “Create a new Password” text field and click the “Create New Password” button.
3. Click the “Forgotten Your Password?” link to reset your password. Be sure to enter your new password in the “New Password” text field when prompted.
4. After logging in, be sure to check your email for a confirmation message from Alameda County Portal with instructions on how to reset your password if needed again in the future.
