October is finally here, and that means it's time to get your Halloween decorations up! Whether you're a fan of the classic pumpkin, or prefer something more spooky, we've got some tips on how to login to portal this year!
How to Login to the Portal
To login to the Portal, follow these steps:
1. Navigate to the portal home page by clicking on the link that appears in your email or on the homepage of the website you are visiting.
2. On the portal home page, click on the Login link in the upper-right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your username and password and click on Log In.
4. If you have not registered for an account yet, you will be prompted to do so now. If you have already registered for an account, you will be logged in automatically.
How to Change your Password
If you forgot your Portal password, follow these steps to change it:
1. Open the Settings menu on your Portal.
2. Select "Account" from the menu.
3. Enter your email address in the “Email Address” field and click “Next”.
4. Enter your current password in the “Password” field and click “Next”.
5. Review the warning message and click “Create Account” to finish changing your password.
How to Report a Problem
If you are having trouble logging in to the Portal, please follow these steps:
1. Navigate to https://portal.umich.edu/ and sign in using your UMICH login credentials.
2. If you are having trouble logging in to the Portal, please click on the 'Report a Problem' link located in the top right corner of the screen.
3. On the 'Report a Problem' page, please provide as much information as possible about your issue, including: your UMICH login name and password, any error messages you are receiving, and screenshots if possible.
4. After providing all of the required information, please click on the 'Submit Report' button to send your report to [email protected].
