How to login to the Csun Student Portal
If you are a Csun student and have an account with them, you can login to the Csun Student Portal to manage your account, grades, and notifications. To login, follow these simple steps:
1. Go to the Csun Student Portal at https://studentportal.csun.edu/.
2. Click on the “Login” link in the top right corner of the screen.
3. Enter your Csun ID and password.
4. Click on the “Log In” button to confirm your login.
5. If you have not previously set up your email address for notifications, you will be prompted to do so now. You will then be able to log in and view your notifications under “My Account” on the left side of the screen.
How to change your password
If you have forgotten your password, or if you want to change it, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Csun portal.
2. Click on your name in the top left corner.
3. In the "My Account" box, click on the "Password" link.
4. Enter your old password and new password in the appropriate fields, and click on the "Update Password" button.
5. Verify that your new password is correct by clicking on the "Verify Password" button.
How to add a new account
If you're a new student at CSUN, you'll need to create an account in the Csun Student Portal. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Log in to the Csun Student Portal home page by clicking on the link in the upper right-hand corner of your screen.
2. Click on the "Add a new account" link in the main menu bar.
3. Fill out the online form with your name, email address, and password. Make sure to type your email address in exactly as it appears on your computer screen. You'll need this information to login to the portal later on.
4. Click on the "Submit" button at the bottom of the form to finish creating your account.
How to report a problem with the Csun Student Portal
If you experience any problems with the Csun Student Portal, please follow these steps to report the issue:
1. Log into the Csun Student Portal using your NetID and password.
2. Click on the "Report a problem" link at the top of the page.
3. In the "Report a problem" form, provide as much information about your problem as possible. Please include: Your NetID, your name, your class level, what happened when you tried to access the Csun Student Portal (for example, you got an error message), and if possible, a screenshot of the problem page.
4. After providing all of the information in the "Report a problem" form, click on the "Submit request" button.
How to unsubscribe from Csun e-mail notifications
If you no longer want to receive Csun notifications, you can unsubscribe from their e-mail notifications by following the instructions below.
To unsubscribe from Csun e-mail notifications:
1. Go to the "My Account" page on the Csun website.
2. On the "My Account" page, click on the "E-Mail Notifications" link.
3. On the "E-Mail Notifications" page, under the heading "Csun Email Notifications," click on the "Unsubscribe" link.
4. You will be asked to confirm your unsubscription. Click on the "Unsubscribe" button and you will be done.
